“We chose to move our corporate office from Defu Lane to Woodlands Loop, so that we are able to house our production and corporate headquarters within the same location. The Woodlands office offers several key advantages, including excellent proximity to transportation, good layout for production as well as a clean room for our technology development and production.”
“As we have had good experience working with the Mapletree Industrial team, they were an obvious choice when we were thinking of expanding our business. Having all our staff under one roof will allow us to respond faster to our customers and partners, and be better equipped to react to changing industry needs.” said Mr Mark Thng, Vice President of Operations, Heptagon Advanced Micro Optics Pte Ltd.
In a short 20 years, Heptagon has grown into an international company having started out as a spin off from the Helsinki University of Technology in 1993. Mr Thng explained that the move was in part was driven by Singapore’s reach to an outstanding talent pool, favorable business climate and competitive edge in the area of development and high-tech manufacturing.
